Prosperous Living Program Logo Set

Centre for Distance Education

The Centre for Distance Education nominated seven Graphic Design students to enter logo designs for a new resource called the Prosperous Living Program or PLP.  I completed 100 preliminary sketches. I then selected 3 designs to develop based on feedback from marketing I further developed my designs.  My logo design for the Prosperous Living Program was the finalist selected by the President of the College and the Marketing team.
The logo was to represent balance in school, work, and home life. Based off this premise I designed a logo that was my abstract interpretation of balance. I used the school colours of purple, green, and teal. I wanted a connection to the ocean. I also researched that those colours are used in healthcare settings. This new resource was to assist those struggling, so I wanted colours to put them at ease.
