Anatomy of Type

Infographic Poster

This infographic poster was an assignment to design an office poster geared towards typographers. I thought a clever way to present the letters would be to format it as if it were an eye chart. I altered the word “Typography” to read “Teyepography” because I wanted it to be read two ways; one as “Typography Chart” and second as “eye art” since this was a poster dedicated to typography lovers. I followed the format of a real eye chart and substituted in letters that I needed to use for the anatomy. I sectioned off the part of the letter I was trying to bring attention to by adding a striped pattern. I placed the anatomy label on or directly beside the marked section of the letter in a contrasting colour.
